Who We Are
A parent-led team passionate about Goodview Elementary
Ges Pta 25-26 is the parent-teacher organization for Goodview Elementary School. We are a volunteer-run group of families, educators, and community members who believe that every child deserves enriched learning experiences beyond the standard curriculum.
From after-school reading clubs and STEM workshops to family movie nights and classroom supply drives, our work is grounded in one simple idea: when the community shows up, kids thrive. We raise funds, coordinate volunteers, and partner directly with the school to make sure resources reach the students who need them most.

Our initiatives are shaped each year by teacher input and family feedback. Here is what the 2025–2026 PTA is focused on.
Literacy & Reading Clubs
After-school story circles, summer reading challenges, and book drives that keep kids engaged with words all year long.
STEM Enrichment
Robotics demos, coding workshops, and science fairs that bring hands-on learning into classrooms and school assemblies.
Classroom Support
Supply kits, tech upgrades, and volunteer helpers — delivered straight to the teachers who ask for them.
Family Community Events
Fall festivals, winter showcases, and spring fairs that bring families together outside the classroom.
Student Wellness
Mindfulness corners, anti-bullying workshops, and mental-health resources funded directly by PTA campaigns.
Scholarship & Grants
Small grants for teacher projects and emergency student needs, distributed fairly and transparently.

Ges Pta 25-26 operates entirely on volunteer time and community donations. There are no paid staff, no outside administrators — just parents and neighbours investing directly back into Goodview Elementary.
Our budget is published at every general meeting. Teachers submit resource requests throughout the year, and the PTA board prioritises spending based on need, impact, and available funds. It is simple, transparent, and focused on the kids.

Winter Gala & Silent Auction
Our biggest fundraiser of the year. Dinner, live music, and donated items up for bid — all proceeds support classroom grants.
